We provide Safe water to children in Schools and promote cleaner and safer cooking options for households.

We are a team of professionals committed to the business of improving lives by deploying sustainable technologies to address some of the world’s biggest problems. Our projects help to promote health and protect the environment.

Since its inception, we have partnered with impact-driven organizations to provide clean water solutions to over 5,000 children in schools across 16 states in Nigeria.

Our creative technologies also seek to reduce the carbon footprint generated from cooking and domestic-related activities. We are excited at the potential of improving our environmental conditions by the deployment of our environment-friendly cookstoves.
While we understand that the challenges of development are multi-faceted, our Social enterprise is committed to playing a vital role in bringing change in the best way we can.

Zacch Akinyemi (MBA, MPH)

Managing Partner / COO, Ashbel Energies Ltd.

Zacch Akinyemi holds a Masters in Business Administration degree (Nig.) and a Masters in Public Health degree (USA), Zacch is a management, finance, marketing, research and public health professional with over 30 years of experience, 20 of which has been at senior management level.

He has considerable experience in Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Reproductive Health, Maternal Health, Child Survival, and renewable energy programs which he led as Managing Director at Society for Family Health (SFH) Namibia up to 2010, Country Director at Population Services International (PSI) Rwanda up to 2013, Executive Director at PACE Uganda up to 2016, Country Director at Impact Water Nigeria up to 2021, Senior Advisor at Impact Carbon Nigeria up to April 2024 and currently Managing Partner / Chief Consultant at Ashbel Energies Limited.

Mr. Akinyemi established and managed the Impact Water project in Nigeria on behalf of Impact Water LLC USA to contribute to the efforts of the government and other stakeholders in the water and education sector. In 2022 Zacch also led the set up of a renewable energy project that promotes the use of improved cookstoves to fight global warming in Nigeria on behalf of Impact Carbon LLC, an American based social enterprise. In his current role as the managing partner and chief consultant at Ashbel Energies limited, Zacch is leading the set up of the company’s safe water and cookstoves projects.

Inaifie Efebo

Managing Director / CEO, Ashbel Energies Ltd.

Founder, and CEO since 2001, Inaifie is a graduate of chemistry and a seasoned businessman, Ha has a mini-MBA, Oil and Gas from CWC London. He is a member of CPE London; an alumnus of the Lagos Business School (Team Leadership Course); an alumnus of the Energy Business School, Groningen Holland (Large Energy Project Diploma and Natural Gas Strategy Diploma Course).

He holds a Masters in Gas Business Management and a Certificate in Gas Trading. He is a Fellow of the institute of Resource Management of Nigeria. He also holds directorships in several other companies. He is currently leading the development of a $1.4 billion gas project here in Nigeria.
